Bird Control Spikes in Noida

Noida is the one NCR city where a factory and a housing society are equally likely to be on the same enquiry. Purpose-built industrial sectors sit alongside new high-rise, and both have bird problems — but they are different problems bought in completely different ways.

The Industrial Side

Noida's Phase 1, 2 and 3 sectors, and the Greater Noida belt beyond them, are full of purpose-built sheds: portal frames, long girder runs, trusses, cable trays and high-bay lighting. Every one of those is a bird surface, and they are usually all colonised together.

Close the openings before you net the roof

The instinct on a shed is to net below the trusses, and that is the expensive option. Walk the envelope first: gable vents, roof lights, louvre banks and the loading bay heads are usually how the birds get in, and closing those is a fraction of the area.

On a single 30 × 20 m bay, netting the roof is around 600 m². Closing the openings on the same building is often under 30 m². Plenty of sites need both; very few need the second without the first. Detail on warehouse jobs.

The other thing worth planning: internal work over running machinery needs a shutdown, and a shutdown window is the scarce resource. Survey well before it, not during it — see factory jobs for how the schedule of items is built.

The Residential Side

Noida's newer societies — the high-rise sectors and Noida Extension — are a different job entirely: balcony netting, terrace parapets, water tanks and AC units.

The planned grid helps here in a way it does not in older cities. Towers within a sector, and often across a whole project, repeat the same balcony opening and the same sill detail. That means:

Dust Is the Local Failure Mode

Cleaning is not preparation here — it is most of the job

Noida has heavy construction and road dust, and every external surface carries a grime film. An adhesive fixing applied over that film bonds to the film. The film then lets go of the wall, taking your installation with it, usually within a year.

Two answers. Clean and dry properly before fitting — the step most often skipped and the commonest reason people believe the product failed. And use mechanical fixing on exposed edges, upper floors and anything above a walkway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should we net the shed roof or close the openings?

Close the openings first if the routes in can be found. On a typical bay that is under 30 m² against 600 m² of roof netting. Net the void where doors must stay open in operation, or where birds are already established up there.

Is the material safe on cable trays and light fittings?

Yes — non-conductive, so no interference with electrical or communication transmission, and flame retardant. That is what makes it specifiable inside a plant.

Our spikes came loose after a year.

Usually dust. An adhesive fixing over Noida's grime film bonds to the film rather than the wall. Clean and dry thoroughly, and fix mechanically where exposed.

Can you quote our whole society from a drawing?

Yes, and in Noida that works well because towers within a project repeat the same balcony opening. Send one measurement and the flat count.

We have a shutdown coming up.

Survey and quote well before it, so material is on site and permits issued when the line stops. The shutdown window is the scarce resource, not the labour.

Do you deliver to Greater Noida?

Yes, including the Ecotech sectors and the Dadri road warehousing belt.

Factory or Society?

For a plant, send hall dimensions, girder and tray run lengths and your shutdown dates. For a society, send one balcony opening size and the flat count. Either way it is a quote the same week — and being Delhi-based, delivery to Noida is short.
